The Club

The Abyssinian Breed Club Europe has been founded in 2006 and was recognized by CFA at the Board Meeting of February 2007.

So, our Club is affiliated with and runs under the rules of the Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc., the World's largest Registry of Pedigreed Cats. CFA's residence is located in the USA and has more than 600 member clubs and sanctions cat shows around the world under specific rules. We organize cat shows in the ring format and with licenced CFA judges. Our first show is planned to be held on May 31/June 1, 2008 at the Zurich Airport area.

We have different forms of membership and you do not necessarily have to be an active breeder.
